Our Mission
Our mission is to give every medical learner the confidence to heal. We believe that mastering clinical skills shouldn't be intimidating or limited by cost. We are dedicated to creating a safe, on-demand, and scalable practice environment that empowers students, supports faculty, and ultimately leads to better patient care.
Our Purpose
Clinical training faces a dual challenge. For learners, live standardized patients (SPs) can be intimidating, creating a high-pressure environment where it's hard to learn from mistakes. For institutions, the high cost and logistical hurdles of SP programs limit the practice each student gets. This often forces learners to practice with untrained family or friends, missing out on the realistic scenarios and expert feedback they need to truly improve.

Our Story
DeepPatient was born from these challenges. We designed a solution that supports both learners and faculty. By providing AI-powered virtual patients, we offer a safe, judgment-free space where students can practice scenarios repeatedly, on their own time. Our platform delivers objective, rubric-based feedback designed by medical experts to provide the actionable insights that drive real improvement.
We don't aim to fully replace invaluable human interaction, but to create a powerful hybrid model. DeepPatient gives faculty more governance and control, drastically reduces costs, and ensures every learner gets the deliberate practice they deserve.
